Geoff Hunter

Based in Amsterdam, Geoff Hunter joined OCCRP in May 2022 as chief information security officer and became chief technology officer later that year. He oversees OCCRP’s technical and security functions and, with his team, ensures that our services and data are kept protected and confidential, while also keeping our staff and partners digitally safe.

Geoff has over 25 years of experience in IT operations, service delivery architecture, and security across the public and private sectors in the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Certified Information Security Manager. Prior to joining OCCRP, Geoff worked on governance risk and compliance for a variety of government and multinational institutions.
