Kopenhagen Fur is a cooperative owned by more than 1,500 Danish fur farmers, and is the world's largest auction house for furs.

The company received four transactions worth $1.2 million between February 2012 and May 2014.

In response to reporters’ inquiries, the company’s director of communications, Søren Jessing Jespersen, said that “Kopenhagen Fur abides by money laundering regulations,” that it had found no grounds to suspect anything untoward in the transactions, and that it had not been contacted by Danish or Moldovan authorities in the matter.
