Teodora Krumova Veselincheva received $16,275 from Metastar Invest on Feb. 1, 2013, described as a payment for Inter Baku “for Zlatinov.”

Veselincheva is the mother-in-law of Petar Zlatinov, a Bulgarian football player who started his career playing for CSKA Sofia. In 2008, he was transferred by Litex Lovech to Inter Baku.

Zlatinov told Bivol.bg that he had never heard of Metastar and that his wages were always paid by the International Bank of Azerbaijan, the main sponsor of Inter Baku while he was signed to the club and until January 2017.

He said that from his understanding, IBA was under the direct authority of President Aliyev.
