Last year, OCCRP published an article detailing how Paul Petre Țârdea, a convicted Romanian businessman, teamed up with members of Bodorin’s family to start “Euro Bingo,” a televised gameshow broadcast in Moldova. Țârdea previously launched two other similar game shows in Romania that went bankrupt before paying out prizes. After OCCRP published its findings, the Euro Bingo deal in Moldova was cancelled.
