Italian authorities also want him for drug trafficking, fraud, money laundering, passport fraud, and running a prostitution ring.
Although Sadushi claims that he is a victim of mistaken identity, fingerprints that Italian and Albanian authorities sent to the UK police confirmed his true identity. Sadushi is believed to have used six aliases while on the run. At the time of his arrest, he went by “Arjan Kasa.”
UK police say Sadushi entered the country illegally on the back of a truck in 2000. There are no records of him seeking asylum. In 2011, he was listed as one of Britain’s 14 most wanted criminals.
Sadushi’s next extradition hearing is scheduled for April 25.
