The 19-year-old woman was arrested on Tuesday after she was found to be carrying the cocaine in 500 candies from a traditional Brazilian chocolate brand that holds a significant market share of individual chocolates in the country.
The young woman intended to board a commercial flight that would make a stopover in Paris, France, before heading to her final destination in Nice, a city located on the French Riviera, a region known for its luxury and sophistication.
