Director, Institutional Giving
Based in the U.S., Diana P. Torres joined OCCRP in 2023 as the director of institutional giving. Previously, she worked for the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) and the UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF). She held several positions at the UN, including head of resource mobilization and partnership specialist. These positions focused on fundraising strategy, donor management, and new donor cultivation.
A trilingual speaker (English/French/Spanish), Diana has studied and worked abroad in the Caribbean, France, Latin America, and West Africa.
She holds a master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College, Columbia University. She also studied in a combined master’s/PhD program at Sorbonne University, focusing on Latin American social movements. Diana has a passion for culture, antiques, and gourmet cuisine. Her hobbies include yoga, running, meditation, cooking, and thrift shopping.
