Amber Crossen

Communications Officer

Based in Germany, Amber Crossen is a communications officer at OCCRP. 

Specializing in global nonprofit communications and impact storytelling, Amber’s expertise spans a wide range of social issues, including poverty alleviation, gender and racial equity, housing and homelessness, criminal legal system reform, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Amber was most recently the global communications manager at MyAgro, a nonprofit focused on sustainable agriculture, and previously ran Crossen Creative, a consultancy where she collaborated with social enterprises, arts organizations, and nonprofits. 

Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in multimedia journalism from Southeast Missouri State University and a master’s degree in governance and human rights from Leuphana University of Lüneburg.
