Sweden: Warrant Issued for Garlic-Smuggling Masterminds

Swedish prosecutors have issued international arrest warrants for two Britons suspected of masterminding a Chinese garlicsmuggling ring.

Prosecutors said the two men avoided paying around $13.1 million in Swedish taxes with the scheme, which took place in 2009 and 2010 and inviolved shipping the garlic customs-free to Norway, and then evading custom checks when driving it to Sweden.
