The Cypriot government said on Tuesday it will hire three firms to carry out due diligence checks on individuals applying for the country’s citizen-by-investment program, and comb through past naturalizations to make sure they comply with the latest eligibility requirements, Cyprus Mail reported.

Germany Arrests Two Suspected of Trafficking Syrians

German police arrested two alleged members of an organized crime group suspected of  trafficking Syrians and is looking for six other suspects, four of which are members of a Lebanese family, according to a release from the prosecutor’s office in Trier.
