Bosnian police arrested four individuals for organized crime in conjunction with human trafficking on Sunday in the northern Bosnian city of Doboj.

Mile Jekić, Musto Ćehajić, Zorica Jekić, BiH nationals, and Verica Munćan, a Serbian national, were charged with recruitment and transportation, by means of deception and abuse of position of vulnerability, of two women from Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the purpose of prostitution.

They have been remanded into one-month custody, partially granting a motion filed by the Prosecutor’s Office.

Based on the presented evidence, the Court ruled that there is a risk suspects may attempt to flee or interfere with the investigation by influencing possible accomplices and witnesses.

According to the report published today by the Prosecutor's Office of the BiH, four individuals were indicted on charges of human trafficking in 2010.
