Brand Guidelines

Welcome! We hope this page will make it easier for you to integrate OCCRP graphic elements into your publications while respecting our brand and legal restrictions.

Our Logo

DOWNLOAD LOGO & ICON

Our logo combines our icon with the full and abbreviated name of our organization. If you plan to use it, please follow these guidelines to ensure it always looks its best.

Icons

In cases where the OCCRP brand has already been established, you can simply use the icon on its own. While the icon can be used without the wordmark, the wordmark shouldn’t be used without the icon.

The red logo, pictured top left, is our primary logo. It should preferably be used on white and very bright backgrounds, with minimal or no visual noise.

For other backgrounds, you should use a monochrome logo.

  • The black logo should be used on light backgrounds.

  • The white logo should be used on dark backgrounds.

How to Utilize Logo Variants

Our main logo (left) should be used whenever possible. However, if it needs to be scaled down to the point where “Organized Crime and Corruption Project” becomes illegible, a variant without this text (right) can be used.

Both of these should be used only on white and very bright backgrounds. In other cases use monochrome variants: the white logo on dark backgrounds, and the black logo on light backgrounds.

This is the extra-wide version of the logo, for use in headers, footers, and other horizontal layouts. It’s important not to scale this version of the logo down too much or the black typography will be illegible.

Minimum Size

Establishing a minimum size ensures that the impact and legibility of the logo is not compromised in application.

Exclusion Zone

The logo’s exclusion zone is equal to half the height of the icon.

Logo Misuse

Please don’t alter the orientation, color, or composition of our logo, or place it over a photograph or image.

Our Colors

The OCCRP logo uses its own distinct shade of red in combination with black or white, depending on the context. Please do not alter the red color, and use the exact RGB and CMYK values.
